At Ben Winney, we strive to ensure that you are fully satisfied with your purchase of our digital products. This policy outlines your rights and our responsibilities regarding refunds and cancellations, in compliance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations (2013).
Important Information About Digital Downloads
Under UK law, the right to cancel does not apply once you have started downloading digital products. By completing a purchase, you agree to waive your statutory 14-day cooling-off period for digital content.
Right to Cancel
If you have not yet started downloading the digital product, you may cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase without giving a reason.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us of your decision to cancel by a clear statement (e.g., via email). You may use the optional cancellation form template provided below.

Effects of Cancellation
If you cancel before the download begins, we will:
- Refund the full purchase amount.
- Process your refund within 14 calendar days of receiving your cancellation request.
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method you used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed. No fees will be charged for the refund.
No Refunds for Downloaded Products
Once you have started downloading the digital product, you waive your right to cancel under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. This policy is in place because digital content cannot be “returned” once accessed.
Exceptions
Refunds may still be issued under the following circumstances:
- The product is faulty or does not work as described.
- You were charged in error or a duplicate charge occurred.

Faulty or Misdescribed Products
If the digital product you purchased is faulty or does not match its description:
- You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
